Survey CAD Technician
We are seeking a Survey CAD Technician for our customer in Denver Colorado. The Survey CAD Technician will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering, land surveying, and construction management firm offering comprehensive civil engineering and structural engineering services along with a complete range of land surveying services. Their management team is currently looking for a Surveying CAD Technician to join their team.
The Survey CAD Technician will create mapping products and reports from field surveys primarily using AutoCAD Civil3D. The survey projects types will include boundary, ALTA, topographic, subdivision, construction, and as-built surveys.
Survey CAD Technician Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering field is desirable
Survey CAD Technician should have 3-5 years of prior work history
Prior reduction of GPS and conventional field survey data, preparation of planimetric and topographic maps using AutoCAD Civil3D
Proficiency in processing and analyzing airport surveying data to NGS and FAA standards and preparing CDOT ROW plans
GPS and conventional field surveying experience using Trimble equipment and software
Must demonstrate proficiency using AutoCAD Civil3D
An understanding of Microsoft Office applications and MicroStation
Be able to work effectively independently and in a team environment
Ability and willingness to perform occasional field duties
Conduct project research, CAD calculations, and CAD drafting duties
Survey CAD Technician should be comfortable interacting with clients on occasion
Excellent communication and computer skills
