TRAFFIC PROJECT MANAGER
to join an ENR top-ranked, full-service design, engineering, architecture, transportation, and planning firm. Traffic Project Manager will manage and control traffic projects including performing traffic design services, managing all aspects of the project, providing technical leadership to the team, and managing client interactions.

Job Responsibilities of TRAFFIC PROJECT MANAGER:
Project Management responsibilities such as preparation of proposals, fee justifications, and contracts in coordination with Traffic Director and others; developing project work plan including milestones, possible roadblocks, schedule, project budget, man-hour forecast and billing forecast; planning, directing and coordinating all project activities to ensure project goals and objectives are met; monitor the financial plan, review cost sheets; prepare monthly invoices, cost/profit analysis, and billing projections; coordinate with appropriate management regarding allocation of personnel resources; represent firm at all required meetings, presentations and public hearings.
Client Management responsibilities such as coordinating project with client, ODOT, local government agencies, permitting agencies, and land acquisition professionals; maintaining strong relationships with clients to resolve all project issues including scope, design exceptions, schedule, extra work and billing; provide support for business development sales team including looking for new opportunities with existing clients.
Technical Leadership and Quality Assurance responsibilities including mentor, teach, direct and coordinate activities of design engineers on project; supervise the work of all project personnel; quality reviews of all final designs and computations.
Traffic Engineering responsibilities: Manage, perform and review traffic impact studies, traffic operations analyses, corridor planning studies, signal design, interconnect design, highway lighting design and signal timing plans.
What you will need to be a successful TRAFFIC PROJECT MANAGER:
BSCE (BS in Civil Engineering) required
PE license required; PTOE certification desired.
5 or more years experience as a Traffic Engineer
Leadership skills: Ability to mentor, direct activities, and supervise work of other design engineers.
Ability to identify project roadblocks and facilitate resolution.
Strong client relationship management skills.
