Eastern Regional Sales Manager

Seeking an Eastern Regional Sales Manager for a major manufacturer of premium roofing products! This position will be responsible for 1-step distribution sales efforts within the following states;
New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding sales and customer service to an established customer base of national and regional roofing distributors headquartered in the North East.
The Sales Manager will work from a home office location. Travel is expected to be approximately 60% - 80% within the region. Additionally, the successful candidate will represent the organization at regional and national trade shows and industry events.
Summary of Responsibilities
Develop and implement a district sales plan to achieve company revenue and profit objectives.
Effectively and efficiently promote the company’s products.
Develop and maintain a structured plan for scheduling visits to customers and corporate headquarters.
P&L understanding (Sales, Profit, Margin)
Forecasting, quota’s (Sales Analysis)
Budget and expense management
Desire to work in an entrepreneurial small company environment
Desire to build a business through long term customer relationships
Experience, Qualifications & Education
BS degree in Business Administration/Marketing
Minimum of 5 -10 years’ proven experience in residential and light commercial roofing sales.
Proven success with roofing contractor relationships is required
Experience in expanding sales volume through selling multiple roofing products
Ability to work independently. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver's License with proof of auto insurance coverage.
