Apply Now for Immediate Consideration. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * MAIN JOB FUNCTION: The Project Controls Engineer (PCE) coordinates overall project schedule integration and cost control, as well as all aspects of progress measurement, schedule development, schedule control, estimate development, and project change management* TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1*) Provide overall project schedule, budget, progress measurement, and change management leadership and expertise * Maintain close liaison with members of the Project Services organization * Ensure that appropriate contractor project controls staffing levels and controls tools are used by the contractor * Coordinate, monitor, and assess contractor's efforts in project planning and sampling to verify quality * Steward the contractor's project control organization with respect to: Cost and schedule development, control and progress measurement * Advise the contractor's organization with respect to: Project controls tools and reports Contractor's efforts in schedule Contractor's efforts in cost * Participate in kick-off meetings with the contractor(s) and the Project Management Team (PMT) to ensure common understanding of cost, estimating, progress measurement, and change management requirements * Conduct briefing sessions for project team members with respect to project control requirements and processes * Cooperate with Independent Project Review (IPR )teams and post-audit activities with respect to Project Services functions * Participate in gathering and recording lessons learned for the project 2* Supporting PMT and Cost Stewards with ongoing project cost and schedule analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and change management* * Develop and document Schedules and Budgets (annual and multi-year), and confirming that these products reflect the approved project design/execution scope * Analyze cost and schedule trends, develop and review cost and schedule forecasts * Monitor and report on cost and schedule implications of changes * Prepare monthly cost and schedule reports (budgets, forecasts, expenditures, commitments) * Participate in contract commercial bid evaluations (as required) * Maintain ongoing cost vulnerability / cost reduction opportunities * Review Controller's monthly Stewardship Report for actual invoice bookings * Develop monthly estimates of Work-in-Place (W IP) for company and 3rd party costs * Administer the project change-control process for the Project and PMT * Participate in developing Contract Control Schedules and Milestones * Respond to ad hoc requests from PMT related to Controls/Reporting * Monitoring and appraising the performance of contractor's site in the areas of cost, progress and schedule control* * Examine and evaluate the contractor's cost and schedule control organization, plans performance and procedures * Review and, where appropriate, endorse cost and schedule progress baselines and forecasts prepared by contractors * Analyze cost and schedule and progress trends developed by contractor * Review and endorse progress measures reported by the contractor * Review cost and schedule bases of contractor's Change Proposals -
